We brought Rumu out into the wild for the first time this weekend at PAX Aus!

Rumu was playable for the first time ever in PAX Rising this weekend! We were admittedly nervous (and excited) to share our passion project with the public after working away in secret all year.

The moment the doors opened on Friday morning and PAX attendees came pouring in our nerves were washed away by their enthusiasm for the game and the incredible response that rippled through the whole weekend.

We brought two demo stations, but we didn't anticipate the overwhelming level of interest and excitement for the project! Thank you to everyone who waited in line to play the demo, chatted with us about the game or stopped by for a selfie with Rumu himself.

We were excited to be invited by Twitch to showcase Rumu on their stage, you can see us play through the demo with Lisy and Bajo here.

The media response has also been incredible - thank you to CNET, Pedestrian, PC Gamer, PC Powerplay, ScreenPlay and more for taking the time to stop by the booth, interview our team and play the game. We've been thrilled to see the positive coverage already.

We'd also like to thank Razer ANZ for providing Razer Blade laptops for our demo stations this weekend.

Logitech G also provided our awesome peripherals - they glowed when Sabrina spoke!

And a huge thanks to the ReedPOP team and the PAX Enforcers for making our first PAX booth such a success.

Thanks to everyone who came by this weekend, we were moved by the outpouring of love for our little robot.

We're bringing your enthusiasm and love back to the studio with us while we polish up the game for launch.

Until next time!
